Horseback riding is a decidedly intense way to discover a territory. Whether you’re an expert or seizing the opportunity to learn, emotions are guaranteed. Horseback excursions are available both in summer amidst the greenery of nature and in winter surrounded by snow.
Itineraries
From Pian del Colle, there are two spectacular excursions: the tour of the Thures lakes and the route to the Mulattiera Pass.
In the first one, you start from Valle Stretta, cross into France, and descend to Névache, then ascend to Colle della Scala before descending back to Pian del Colle.
The other route starts by climbing up Colomion to Punta Mulattiera, reaching Col des Acles and passing through a forest of cedars and larch trees. From there, you descend back to Col des Acles and return to Pian del Colle.
